Bistro St. Sjaak

The city is quite dead on NYE. so it was nice to find this restaurant open. The drinks (cocktails) were amazing and well priced. The portions of the main course are quite large, which is great. The flavors were nor as great as we expected, but we were still happy with the meal.

Everything was perfect, the service ambiance and the food was definitely made with love !

Hele goeie ambiance. Fijne mensen. Fijne muziek. Iets wat veel truffel. Mag meer groenten bij. Goeie wijnen. Patat niet lekker. Rest perfect.

Ambient, fine people, fine music, something a lot of truffles, more vegetables, good wines, not a patate, rest perfect.

Wederom heerlijk gegeten. Verrassende kaart. Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en heeft kennis van de kaart. Absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar.

Recommended, astonishing card, staff very friendly and familiar with the card, absolutely capable of repeating.

Kwamen per toeval bij St Sjaak terecht maar zijn ontzettend verrast. Vriendelijke bediening, vis en vlees heerlijk mals en vers. Ook opmaak borden en side dishes helemaal niets op aan te merken. Gaan er zeker terugkomen.

Then they came to St. Shaak, but they were awful surprises, friendly service, fish and meat, awful meal and fresh, and also make out plates and side dishes noticed at all.

Heerlijke vis proeverij daarna een vleesproeverij vergezeld met een eendenlever en zwezerik. Als hoofdgerecht een kalfswang en hazenpeper, heerlijk avondje uit geweest!

The restaurant was cosy, the service was great. The steak was delicious. The fish and chips was great, but a little bit soft not crispy, the prosecco was overpriced.
